Treasure Island Las Vegas.
Donald Trump said some curse words dropping them like bombs in Las Vegas tonight while hosting an event at Treasure Island. I think I am coming around and am beginning to hope Trump gets the Republican nomination.
Why? He will be easy to beat.
Las Vegas is our sideshow just like Trump.
My argument is simple. How will Trump be able to sway all the Republicans to vote for him with his flamboyant attitude?
I am going to double down that he can't win because the odds are stacked highly against him.
He may be a descent businessman but he has no clue how to be a politician.
When times are tough, Vegas is where we go to party and forget about the real world. It would seem that Trump agrees.
After taking a bashing on the Birther issue while questioning President Obama's legitimacy as an American, I would go to a place where everybody was my friend too.
Why are we still talking about Trump right now?
This is another easy answer.
Times are tough and war sucks but as the French put it, "c'est la vie."
Seriously, we need a break from the real world. This is why Trump has become so popular lately.
After months and months of war in Libya, possible nuke sites in North Korea and Iran, years and years of trying to get Afghanistan and Pakistan to see our point of view, decades of whatever is going on in Iraq, a radiated Japan, tornadoes ripping up the USA heartland, and mass confusion about why prices are going up, we need a break. It's just too much. Our brains are imploding.
So thank you Trump. Thanks for the circus sideshow. We needed it. As soon as we tire of this clown, we will be debating global warming and oil prices once again.
Mark my words, if Trump is nominated he will split the Republican party in half and soon there will be the moralists vs. the anti-moralists. Both sides will be duking it out while many of us sit back and laugh at all the strange issues that emerge, cracking the Republican party into splinters as real conservative politicians try to enter the game.
My reasoning for this happening is that I can't fathom why any Bible Belt or intellectual Republicans in their right minds would vote for him. It's beyond me. All he has to win people to his side are fear tactics. Are we really that stupid?
On top of that, feminist groups will tear him apart.
Will somebody please explain to me why nominating Donald Trump is a good thing for the Republican party?
As President Obama does his job today, I hope he gets a good laugh out of Trump. Then he can get back to work coming up with creative ideas to fix our economy.
In the meantime, full steam ahead with Trump. I hope he gets the Republican nomination.
