Shame on Trump for jumping on the bigot bandwagon, playing the made-up mudslinging card, and infecting minds in our country by suggesting that the President of the United States isn't even an American.  That thought and action is very UN-American.  He needs to stay on prime time T.V. and keep styling his hair.

In my opinion, President Obama is doing a good job with the situation he has been given.

His green views on energy may be a lot for our economically sick nation to digest at the present time, but at least somebody is saying what we need to hear.  One day we will realize that he was right whether by climate change or a better system of transportation.

What does Trump have to offer our American family? He has three ex-wives, a profligate lifestyle, and Celebrity Apprentice.  Are we getting the picture? While this life may be tempting for some it is not worthy of the Presidency.

On the contrary, Obama has one extremely intelligent wife, two beautiful kids, and a Portuguese water dog named Bo.

The President should be the person best qualified for the job as well as someone who represents our American ideals.

Instead of squabbling over Trump's stupid issues like Birther's claims that Obama isn't even American, I suggest that we listen to Obama and hear what this highly intelligent Harvard graduate has to say and follow his advice.  I guarantee he knows more about economic policy then the majority of us do.

We need to come together and start following our leader instead of calling him names or putting unfunny racist pictures on the web for all of us to NOT want to think about.  This is distracting people from what needs to be done in order to nurse our country back to health.

It will probably take an economic genius or a team of them to get us out of this mess.  Our last economic miracle man, former President Clinton, figured out our complex 90's economy.  This was why we had an economic trade surplus when he left after two terms in office.

Now it is Obama’s time to rule and we may need him for two terms so that he can lift America back on its feet.  Last thing we should do is chase him away.

USA still has the opportunity to regain its rightful place as the country with the strong middle class.  We just have to be smart about it.

Let’s not flush our country down the dum-dum toilet by encouraging Trump and his followers to blindly cast stones in an effort to discredit our president.

Trump and the Birthers seem to forget that if they do somehow succeed and invalidate Obama's claim as a U.S. born citizen, these misled Americans will be inadvertently invalidating the citizenship of everybody who was born in Hawaii.  They will also be insulting our national flag.

FYI Hawaii became the fiftieth state in the union in 1959. During the fight for statehood, the Kingdom of Hawaii supported the United States in World War II as well as the Korean War.  They are and have the right to be Americans.

This is a wake up call to all those supporters of Trump. Smell the coffee already and let Trump do what he is good at doing and that is looking good on T.V. and giving business tips.

Don't be fooled. He is NOT the next Ronald Regan.

Trump is merely an opportunist cashing in on fear.  We should not encourage his presidential aspirations.  He belongs on Celebrity Apprentice not the Oval Office.

Our economy is contracting primarily due to our big business policies of outsourcing our workforce to other countries in order to save a buck or two.  Now we are paying the price with high unemployment.

Inflation is occurring because our interest rates are too low and hovering around a quarter of a percent.

If the Feds raise interest rates the likely effect is that gas and food prices would go down but so would our stock market.  With the dollar cheap, our products are very attractive to other countries that import our goods.  This in turn lifts our stock markets as people around the world buy our stuff.

Gas and food prices will continue to rise until the Feds figure out a solution to combat this current inflation trend. It's a tricky horse to ride worthy of the balance of an economic Olympic gymnast.

How about the rest of us come up more inventive ways of running our own business' and make our own American dream.  We need to play an active role in following in the footsteps of job creation experts like Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg. Obama was wise to have a pow-wow with him and I hope he learned something.  I bet we could too.

I am interested in where the next job adding American guru is hiding.  Who will be that person or people who will add more jobs to our healthy American computer sector?

While we wait for these creative entrepreneurs to find themselves, we should let Obama and his team figure out this situation in peace.

What can we do?  Buy AMERICAN, and don’t encourage presidential naysayers like Trump who would only tarnish the image of the President of the United States.

He may not be worthy but he is addressing problem that this country has, and world problems that effect this country in a way that we understand. I can only believe that the effort on Trump's part in addressing some of these topics is good and might lead to our real politicians addressing the same topics. The debates need to go on. Today was one that Trump was on CNN addressing issues and CNN cut into the programming with Obama, who was listening to Trump, who was having much power over me with the issues he was addressing. Something has to CHANGE and we all know that. So far the CHANGES are no where to be found. Our economy is in shambles.

Is Trump Worthy to Be Our President?

I would first asked, for after filing for bankruptcy three times, his creditors, if he is credit worthy.?

I would first asked, for after filing for bankruptcy three times,

Well maybe his bankruptcy knowledge is about the only thing that would make hI think the onyl reason we have no\t declared bankruptcy is the hold this bad debt has on the people.

Maybe everybody thinks people on food stamps and UEB ought to be glad for what they have as a person who's only income is $200 a month in food stamps I would much rather go back to making my $1600 a month. I am sure if the debt was cleared the economy would regain it's footing in less than a year greed and power will keep this going on long after it should be over. and if that does not piss you off I don't know what will.

I wish we were a strong people like in Iceland.

Obama has to go. He cant make up his mind if he wants to close Gitmo or not, get us in more wars or out of the ones we're in, get national healthcare with a private option to make it fair or not, and on and on. He's not quite as bad as W... yet... but Gary Busie would be a better President than the clown Obama is turning out to be.

Barrack Obama was the wrong answer. Theres a lot more people like me who wont vote for him again. The President is totally different than the candidate. Plus, he's not very smart. At all. Therefore, if he can be President, anybody is worthy to be President.

Which only confirms that your view is not at all credible. If you had merely articulated a cogent concern about policy, your perspective might have been worth a halfway serious read. But alas. You want to spew nonsense, then God Bless America and her freedoms. Its also your right to vote in based for any intellectually bankrupt you have. But the whole personal insult bull$hit - particularly when it isn't true - establishes the abject nescience of your position.

You want a "cogent" concern about policy??? How bout this... Gitmo is still open, his healthcare without the private option has caused costs to skyrocket, he's gotten us into more wars and not out of any, He and his administration say inflation is low... I could go on and on. If he were any worse he'd make W look good.

Since you used it in a sentence, I find ironic that your post failed on the "cogency" thing. It's the "public" option that we didn't get, not the private option. That said, HCR was an unprecedented accomplishment that among other things enables 30 million otherwise uninsured Americans to be covered and stops people from being barred from coverage due to pre-existing conditions. Healthcare insurance costs are not going up due to HCR. They are going up because health care costs themselves are going up.

More wars? Where? Perhaps you mean "another" war. Of course you don't acknowledge the drawdown of 100,000 troops from Iraq, nor do you acknowledge that the exit plan from Iraq is proceeding as the President said it would. Further, it is fundamentally unreasonable and irresponsible to suggest that we could extricate ourselves from such longstanding conflicts with a flick of the switch. In addition, the President did not promise a rapid drawdown in Afghanistan.

Inflation is low. The core CPI for March was 0.1% and the 12-month growth rate was 1.2%.

I suppose you could go on, but not correctly if your last post is any indication. You've only dug that credibility hole deeper.

I don't know what you mean by "worthy." That might become something un-democratic and discriminatory.

Is having Trump as President of the USA in our best interests as a nation, economy, and people? To that I echo the above sentiments: HELL NO!

Gee, what a great guy. Why, the above is MORE than enough to qualify him as president.

Other than that, thats the only qualifications you can give for the current Commander in Training?

Rather than diss Trump's excursions into relationships (you LOVED Clinton for him banging an intern in the WH, didnt ya?), why DONT you list Obama's qualifications.

No business acumen at all compared to Trump...none whatsoever.

On his worst day as a businessman, Trump is at the very least MORE qualified to run this country than the current man-child.

So go ahead...list Obama's gualifications...other than having a "nice" family. I'll think you'll have a hard time at it.

And dont bother with the Harvard "Law Review Editor" crap....thats the LAST thing we need is another damn lawyer in the WH.

          1) Former Senator

          2) Extensive travels overseas -this means he actually understands the nationalism of other countries.

          3) his work with Americans afflicted with dire POVERTY (He sure seems to care about our economics)

          4) Solid record on anti-proliferation

          5) Magna Cum Laude Harvard Law Graduate - How smart do you have to be to get in here again? (Please try not to bag on people like Lincoln who are Lawyers unless you are willing to point out their flaws. Hmm...lawyers as presidents? Let's see. Since they know law are they qualified to run our government?

BTW-Magna Cum Laude means he graduated with somewhere around a 3.7-3.8 GPA

          6) 2 years as President of the United States

So PLEASE answer my questions first before you yap more about his non-qualifications. In my opinion he is qualified. I could sit here and list everything Obama has done AS the President of the United States but all of what he has done for us is subjective. If you chose to vote for another in the election that is YOUR choice. Fortunately, this is America and not Syria or Iran.

It Ain't So might be using the term correctly in reference to one who "rarely takes responsibility for own failings." Or perhaps a vague reference to Obama's Beer Summit at the White House. Even though I do not necessarily agree with It Ain't So in his useage of manchild, I do not find this comment to be racist.

Trump has taken the Office of the Presidency into the muck and mire from which he comes. He should crawl back under his rock and stay there. It is now up to the Press to put this bigot to rest. Former President William Jefferson Clinton is arguably smarter the President Obama. Clinton holds a whopping IQ of 182. I don't believe Obama has officially released his IQ scores. If somebody knows please post. But he did get into Harvard, graduated Magna Cum Laude, likes to listen to others, and some have speculated that it may be around 150. In contrast, most of us peeps have scores between 90-120. I think I read somewhere that former pres G.W. Bush had an IQ of 125 (that may be generous) and former pres Nixon scored a 155.

Just curious Mr. Grammatically Incorrect It AINT So, since you can spell "smartest" but forgot the apostrophe in your publicly viewable name ain't, what's your IQ?

Yes, I heard his comments this morning. But he better hopes it would remain a distraction. Now he has to deal with high gas prices, high unemployment, and the world at unrest.

Maybe he should have left it a distraction. Now he has to finally govern (god thats a scary thought)

Nobody so egotistical should be in charge of anything, much less our country. He'll never have any other interests than himself.

Right, that would just be replacing the egotistical Obama. No improvement there. Or were you talking about Obama in your post.

Hmm, I would be VERY careful of saying that, considering you have one, if not the most, egocentric, nascissistic presidents that we have EVER had in the WH right now.

Who said anything about being a fan of Obama? I was discussing Trump. And while I won't vote for Obama, I certainly don't think he's as egotistical as Trump; I don't think many people are. He sounds like Paris Hilton, for crying out loud; "they damaged my brand, wah wah." And the idiocy he spouted about how much he's worth .... He should stay on reality TV where he belongs, and go find more cradles to rob.

One does not need to be bright, to be rich, or successful, all one needs, is to be more ruthless than their target. To trump, as with all ultra wealthy individuals, this is a game where you compete to see who can amass the most, the fastest. Trump as president would be like the fox in the henhouse, not much different than Bush #2. We've had some real jewels in the white house as of late, pick your poison, thieves, or dogs in heat!Trump would get eaten for lunch in the area foreign affairs, because alot of these people are idealogues, they are not motivated by mammon, which is Trumps, exclusive frame of reference. Besides that, from what I hear, Trump made a VERY bad deal, especially if the person who said " What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, but LOSES his Soul" was right !!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking at Donald Trump, I see a businessman and a successful one at that. Ross Perot had the right idea, "operate the United States government as a business and not as a charity". If we want to give out financial aid, then make it a loan with an interest rate and expect it to be repaid. Too many politicians see the US Treasury as their own private bank with an endless supply of money and the taxpayer as the guarantee of the money. It is time for a president to stand firm and protect the United States first over foreign interests. Who's up to the task? a businessman.

A businessman? Who saw nothing wrong with filing various chapters to get out from the necessity of honoring his various corporate debts and obligations and wrangling a better 'deal'.

Unfortunately, filing bankruptcy for the US wouldn't sit well with the rest of the world.. or with the majority of us, either.

not even remotely close to being worthy, if he had a few million less dollars he'd be in prison and instead of a "real estate mogul" he would be a "felon". A random homeless person has a lot more integrity.

Not really, but then again, neither is Obama and that didn't stop him...

I think now that the Obama Administration has killed Bin Laden with our US Navy Seals, that this pretty much hammers the nail in the coffin for Trump. Other Republicans will find it hard to be elected in 2012 as well. We learned that not only is Obama a good speaker and intelligent, but that he is also extremely lucky. Right now, luck is the best thing for this country.
